Important carved walnut two-body sideboard.
The upper part opens by two doors with bevelled glasses.
Stylized pediment with garlands of fruit, crosspiece decorated with grotesque masks.
The uprights are decorated with detached columns with Corinthian capitals.
The lower part opens with two drawers and four doors.
Busts of Renaissance characters in sculpted medallions with ribbons and foliage.
Masks decorated with antique fruit vases.
Stylized flat columns with Corinthian capitals.
Fine carving and quality of workmanship.
In the taste of Henri Auguste Fourdinois.
Renaissance style, circa 1880.
Height 290 cm (bottom 98 cm, in-between 38 cm, top 125 cm, pediment 29 cm), width 194 cm, depth 57 cm.
Some missing mouldings in the in-between.
