Small pedestal table in the Transition style.
It opens with a front drawer, curved legs and fluted uprights.
Top, belt and crotch shelf inlaid in the Queen's style.
Amaranth, rosewood and lemon.
Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes: mouldings, pull handles, falls, sabots and asparagus tips.
Beautifully crafted oak frame (probably Faubourg Saint-Antoine).
In the taste of the great makers of the 18th century (BVRB, Carlin, RVLC).
Circa 1950.
Height 74 cm, width 60 cm, depth 40 cm.
