Beautiful pair of molded and carved mahogany bergères.

Inverted backswith lanceolate leaves, armrests with sheathed uprights topped with busts of Athenian women.

Front feet claw, rear feet saber.

Stamped green velvet trim. 

To be compared with Jacob-Desmalter's productions.

Pad varnished, usable as is.

Consulate period (1799-1804).

Seat height 41 cm, backrest 91 cm.

Width 63 cm, seat depth 51 cm.

Fabric: minor wear.
