A handsome, finely carved beechwood sofa.
Large oval back with laurel leaves, knotted ribbon, grooves, licture beams and pearls.
Armrests with cuffs and acanthus leaves, fluted console supports filleted with pearls.
Seat crosspieces with guilloches and fleuron dice. Fluted spindle legs.
Fluted spindle legs.
Upholstered in mechanical tapestry with floral decoration in the Aubusson style.
Beautiful model, circa 1900.
Total height 105 cm, seat 41 cm, width 138 cm, depth 61 cm.
Tapestry: stains, back silk worn.
