Beautiful suite of four armchairs and two chairs in mahogany.
Slightly overturned backs, scrolled armrests, leaf-decorated armrest supports.
Opposite double-curved hocked front legs, saber-shaped back legs.
Velvet and silk upholstery with floral motif.
Stamped Veuve Grange et Bétout.
Circa 1840.
Armchairs: seat height 42 cm, backrest 97 cm, width 57 cm, seat depth 50 cm.
Used fabrics.
Chairs: seat height 45 cm, back 89 cm, width 45 cm, seat depth 39 cm.
Seats to be relined and reupholstered, old reinforcements.

Grange (Veuve) et Bétout.
Manufacturers of seating and salon furniture, established at 95 Faubourg du Temple, Cour-de-Bretagne, in 1840 and 1841.
