Beautiful set of six armchairs and two bergères in molded and carved mahogany.
Upside-down backs with lanceolate leaves, armrests with sheathed uprights topped with busts of Athenian women.
Front claw feet, rear saber feet.
Stamped green velvet upholstery.
Closer to Jacob-Desmalter productions.
Stamped varnish, usable as is.
Circa 1800.
Armchairs: seat height 44 cm, backrest 90 cm, width 59 cm, depth 50 cm.
Bergères: seat height 41 cm, backrest 91 cm, width 63 cm, seat depth 51 cm.
Velvet: minor wear from use.
