Beautiful pair of carved walnut chairs.
High backs, wide, deep seats.
Decorated with shells, acanthus leaves and scrolls.
Floral silk upholstery, strapped seats.
Stamped by Jacques Jean-Baptiste Tilliard (Jean Baptiste I, 1686-1767).
Early 18th century.
Seat height 41 cm, backrest 100 cm, width 58 cm, seat depth 50 cm.
Fabric: wear and stains.
