Beautiful suite of three carved walnut chairs.

High backs with openwork pediments featuring grotesques, shells and horns of plenty.

Bust of chimeras on upside-down consoles, foliage, coats of arms and fluting.

Curved seats with rounded corners, carved decoration of rosettes.

Bases with busts of chimeras, grotesques and cartouche surrounded by leather.

Italy, circa 1880.

Seat height 50 cm, backrest 115 cm, width 40 cm, depth 42 cm.
