Beautifully carved walnut bedframe.

The head is adorned with a large openwork rocaille shell decorated with flowers, a medallion with putti, scrolls, crosses and leafy crescents.

The pediment of the base features a shell and attributes, a panel depicting a putto chasing a dragonfly in a rocky antique décor, a fire pot, a fountain and garlands of flowers.

Low crosspiece and sides with rocaille shells, flowers and lictor beams.

Cambered legs ending in a snail, acanthus leaves.

Remarkable sculptural work, similar to that of Honoré Dufin.

Around 1900.

Headboard: height 166 cm, width 164 cm.

Footboard: height 105 cm, width 164 cm.

Bedding: 140 cm x 190 cm.
