Beautifully carved and molded walnut bedframe.

The head is adorned with a large rocaille shell with flowers, putti in a frame of foliage crosses and crescents.

The base features a rocaille shell with flowers, a cornucopia of flowers and acanthus leaves in a frame of crescents and scrolls.

Reserve, acanthus and shell crosspieces.

Uprights and snail feet with acanthus and shell falls.

Remarkable sculptural work, in the style of the Maison Mercier in Paris.

Around 1900.

Headboard: height 164 cm, width 166 cm.

Footboard: height 101 cm, width 160 cm.
