Small Louis XV style writing desk or table in violet wood and mahogany.
It opens in front of a drawer without crossbar.
The top is inlaid with foliage and flowers.
Eight-sided cambered legs.
Ornamentation of finely chiselled gilt bronzes: moulding, falls, sabots, keyholes.
Made by a great Parisian firm, in the taste of BVRB (Bernard Van Riesen Burgh)
Varnished with a stamp.
About 1880.
Height 73 cm, width 66 cm, depth 40 cm.
