Beautiful carved walnut writing table.

It opens with two drawers on the front and a beltwith a frieze of foliage and flowers.

Pedestal with columns, Ionic capitals and acanthus leaves.

Decorated with female masks, foliate scrolls, rectangles and fillets of blackened wood.

Stylized brace and leafy scrolled legs.

Very good workmanship.

To be compared with Honoré Dufin's productions.

Around 1880.
