KRIEGER

Beautiful bookcase in solid and flamed mahogany.

It opens with two panelled glass doors, finely molded frames and finials in spandrels.

Molded pediment with doucine, cornice with wreath and laurel branches, foliage posts and finial dice.

Uprights with fluted and twisted columns, laurel rings and acanthus leaves.

Low crosspiece with laurel garlands and knotted ribbons, spindle feet.

Oak backs and shelves, rack-and-pinion lock.

Signature stamp: KRIEGER, PARIS.

Around 1880.

Height 236 cm, width 123 cm (+2x6 cm cornice), depth 45 cm (+8 cm cornice).
