Beautiful two-part mahogany bookcase and writing desk.

The upper part has two grid doors and three drawers.
Arched pediment, molded cornice with doucine.
The lower part has four drawers, the upper drawer reveals a desk.
Four small drawers inlaid with fillets, leather top.
Low cornice with inverted doucine.
Rich ormolu ornamentation:  
- Pediment with mask and winged lions.
- Rose and palmette mounts, Egyptian busts and claw feet.
- Raised-heart frame mouldings.
- Palmette escutcheons, scrolls, horns of plenty, knotted ribbons and flowers.
- Pull handles with palmettes, flowers, fruits and swan necks.
Mahogany frame and spokes.
Pad varnish, rack and pinion lock.
High quality furniture.
