Magnificent bookcase in finely carved and molded walnut.

It opens to reveal two doors with beveled glass, stylized gonds in finely chased bronze.

Carved decoration of crescents, foliage and flowers.

Pediment with large openwork rocaille shell.

Mounts with acanthus plumes, busts of toddlers, shells and lictor beams.

Low crosspieces with rocaille shells.

Snail legs with acanthus scrolls, panelled and carved sides.

Remarkable sculptural work, similar to that of Honoré Dufin.

Around 1900.

Height 276 cm, width 148 cm, depth 60 cm.
