Magnificent bookcase in finely carved and molded walnut.

It opens with a front door, bronze hinges.

Curved pediment with flowery rocaille shell, uprights with acanthus scrolls and flowers.

Curved and domed sides.

Snail legs with shells and acanthus leaves, low crosspiece with shells and foliate scrolls.

Interior in bird's-eye maple veneer.

Exceptional quality, in the taste of Mercier in Paris.

Around 1900.

Height 266 cm, width 149 cm, depth 50 cm.
