Mercier Frères in Paris
Beautiful suite of six mahogany chairs with cane bottoms.
Rounded and molded backs and seats, fluted spindle legs.
Gilt bronze ornamentation: fusaroles and fleurons.
High-quality seats, circa 1870.
A sideboard from the same furniture set bears a maker's plate.
Total height 95 cm, seat height 44 cm, width 43 cm, depth 43 cm.
Cannage: five seats and one backrest damaged.
