Beautiful signed oil on canvas depicting a flower seller.

Gilded leaf frame, decorated with ribboned wire, laurel and acanthus leaves, rais-de-coeur.

Frame: height 70 cm, width 61 cm.

View: height 45 cm, width 37 cm.

Pierre Testu was a French painter active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, specializing in marine scenes, especially fishing. 

He also painted scenes of country life, working in the fields, hunters and villages.
