Important pair of Louis XV-style three-light sconces in gilded and chased bonze.
The shafts with superimposed acanthus scrolls are prolonged in the center by three arms of light with crossed curves, decorated with acanthus leaves with fruits.
The chopped-leaf bobèches support helical trunks decorated with seeds.
In the taste of Philippe Caffieri (1714-1774).
Circa 1860.
Height 45 cm, width 38 cm.
