Important suite of four carved walnut armchairs.

Pediments decorated with griffins, character masks, foliate scrolls and flowers.

Backs with balusters, spinning tops and foliate scrolls.

Armrests with cuffs, armrest supports with fantastical animals.

Flower-quilted crosspiece, gadrooned baluster legs.

Cordoba leather trim.

Around 1880.

Seat height 42 cm, backrest 128 cm, width 66 cm, depth 58 cm.

Leather: wear, wood: old reinforcements and small chips.
