Alexandre François Bonnardel

Still life with peaches.

Signed oil on canvas under glass, original gilded frame.

Around 1900.

Frame: height 63 cm, width 72 cm.

View: height 45 cm, width 54 cm.

A.F Bonnardel (1867-1942).

A student of JB Poncet at the Lyon School of Fine Arts, he painted portraits, fruit, flowers and landscapes.

First medal at the Lyon Salon in 1899. Honorable Mention at the Paris Salon in 1909. 

In 1900, he was appointed professor at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Lyon.
