Beautiful Louis XVI style chest of drawers in cherry wood.

It opens on the front with three pull-out drawers, two of which have no rails.

Front fluted uprights with cut sides, rear fluted uprights with recesses.

Rich ormolu and brass ornamentation: pull handles and lock escutcheons with ribbons, asparagus tips, rings, sabots, antique-style falls and frame mouldings.

Tapered feet.

St. Jean marble top with flowered springs and inverted cavet.

Fine craftsmanship in the Mailfert style.

Around 1950.
