Beautiful walnut chest of drawers with crossbow front.

Top with molded rim, rounded uprights with undercut.

Three large drawers, original locks.

Bronze pull handles (later): foliate scrolls and ribboned medallion.

Lock escutcheons with laurel garlands and knotted ribbons.

Panelled sides, fir-wood frame.

Rhône Valley, early 18th century.

Height 92 cm, width 135 cm, depth 64 cm.

Small grafts on the drawers and top.
