Beautiful suite of six molded and carved mahogany armchairs.
Inverted backrests with lanceolate leaves, armrests with sheathed uprights topped with busts of Athenian women.
Front claw feet, rear saber feet.
Stamped green velvet upholstery.
Closer to Jacob-Desmalter productions.
Stamped varnish, usable as is.
Consulate period (1799-1804).
Seat height 44 cm, backrest 90 cm, width 59 cm, depth 50 cm.
Velvet: minor wear from use.
