Beautiful pair of carved walnut armchairs.
Decorated with shells, acanthus leaves, flowers, scrolls and foliage.
Wide, flat backrests, cross-braced supports.
Whiplash-shaped armrests, curved brackets.
Wide, deep seats, curved front crosspieces, curved side crosspieces.
Cambered legs terminating in snails.
Decorated with 18th-century floral motifs.
Usable as is, recently upholstered.
Circa 1900.
Total height 100 cm, seat height 45 cm, width 69 cm, seat depth 52 cm.
