Important pair of Regency style armchairs.

Carved walnut enhanced with gilding. 

Back to the Queen, arched feet ending in a snail, whiplash armrests.

Decoration of shells, acanthus leaves, rinceaux and crosses.

Filled with tapestry with small stitches depicting rural characters in stylized foliage.

Wide and low seats (fire corner).

Around 1880.

Height backrest 117 cm, seat 42 cm, width 72 cm, seat depth 60 cm. 

Worn back silk, sagging backs and seats (to be refilled).

Tapestry: good condition, some wear.
