Beautiful Transition style chest of drawers with arched legs.

It opens through two doors in Coromandel lacquer with a décor of characters.

Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes: scraps, key, keyhole, apron, clogs.

Veneer of amaranth wood, oak frame.

Marble top breached.

Manufactured by Faubourg Saint-Antoine.

Mid 20th century.
