In olive and amaranth marquetry, it opens with three drawers on the front.
Front uprights moved and pinched.
Pull handles, lock entries and shoes in gilt bronze.
White veined marble top.
Made of softwood.
Bears the stamp: "Lebrund, privileged du Roy".
Beautiful proportions, rare signature.
Early 18th century.

Jean-Baptiste Topino, known as Le Brun. Privileged cabinetmaker of the King, established in Marseille, rue Saint-Ferréol, was the brother of the master Charles Topino. Very few pieces of furniture are known to this craftsman.
