Beautiful half-moon chest of drawers in flamed mahogany.
It opens with two drawers and two doors, fluted uprights.
Gilt bronze ornamentation: pearl pull rings, laurel and ribbon-knotted lock escutcheons, pompoms and pearls, pearl sabots.
Fluted tapered legs.
Raised marble top with inverted cavet.
Oak frame, original locks, stamped varnish.
Stamped by Roussel (Pierre Roussel 1723-1782) and JME.
Late 18th century.
Height 88 cm, marble width 113 cm, marble depth 43 cm.
