Beautiful mahogany chest of drawers.
Three drawers in front, decorated with tables and discs.
Cutaway front jambs, fluted rear jambs.
Two-panel sides, sheath legs.
Gilt bronze ornamentation: spandrel flowers, drop handles with laurel and lictor beams, medallion escutcheons with interlacing and lanceolate leaves, rings and sabots with pearls and rais-de-cooeur.
The lock on the top drawer controls the other two.
Veined white marble top, openwork gallery with arches and pearl friezes.
Varnished oak frame.
Traces of stamping and swearing.
Late 18th century.
Height 84 cm, width 120 cm, depth 60 cm.
