Beautiful Louis XVI style gilt bronze clock.

Dampening on quivers, knotted ribbon and laurel wreath.

Large enamelled dial with domed glass, Roman and Arabic numerals, finely chased openworked hands.

Double-sided decorated shaft with flat fluted columns, scrolls and rais-de-coeur.

Sides adorned with ribboned cornucopias and plumes of acanthus leaves.

Rounded base with burst flowers, foliage and fluting.

Movement signed Chameroy in Paris.

Around 1880.

Movement in working order, overhauled by a professional watchmaker.

Height 44 cm, width 34 cm, depth 16 cm.
