Beautiful white marble portico clock.

Enamelled dial with bezel signed Barancourt in Paris, Arabic and Roman numerals, openworked hands.

Rich ornamentation in finely chased ormolu:

- Entablature with flower vase, garland of flowers, pampers and pomegranates.

- Flower-crowned bezel with knotted ribbon.

- Columns with twisted leaves.

- Base with fleurons, laurel leaves and pomegranate.

- Stylized feet, pearl frieze, sunburst pendulum.

Late 18th century.

Height 42 cm, width 23 cm, depth 8 cm.

Movement in working order, overhauled by a professional watchmaker.

Michel-Pierre Barancourt, master in 1779.
