Gilt bronze clock from the Charles X period.
It depicts a young girl protecting a bird from the storm, basket and shrub overturned.
Base with rich ornamentation of foliage and finely chiselled shells.
Thread movement revised by a watchmaker by trade.
Beautiful gilding.
Circa 1825.
Height 39 cm, width 31 cm, depth 11 cm.
