Magnificent regulator in aventurine lacquer and gilt bronze.

Decorated with Japanese scenes, flowers and birds.

Enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, signed Dutertre in Paris.

Finely chased openworked hands.

The violin body, stylized lateral keyhole, sunburst pendulum.

The base has an inverted cavet, curved on the front and sides, and fluted scraper uprights.

Gilded bronze ornamentation: acanthus falls, knotted ribbons, laurel leaves.

Damped globe, uprights with espagnolette busts.

Movement numbered and signed Planchon in Paris.

Louis XV style, circa 1880.
