Important clock in patinated and gilded bronze.
Red griotte marble base adorned with ormolu: quivers, ribbons, pearls, acanthus leaves, fluting and drapery.
Enameled dial with Roman numerals and polychrome flower garlands.
Finely chased hands.
Large patinated bronze figure of a woman with a dove, signed Mathurin MOREAU (1822-1912).
Stamp of the Société des Bronzes de Paris.
Napoleon III period.
Total height 97 cm, bronze 80 cm, base width 31 cm, base depth 31 cm.
The clock has been overhauled by a professional clockmaker.
