Beautiful clock in mahogany veneer and rosewood on all sides.
Filleted top, pediment with inverted doucine.
Cutaway mounts, cambered legs.
Inlaid cubes on the front.
Gilded bronze ornamentation: pine cones, acanthus leaves and flowers, clogs, apron with knotted ribbon and flowers.
Pad varnish.
Enameled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, openwork hands.
Beveled glass bezel with pearl frieze.
Mechanism signed in Paris, striking hours and half-hours.
Revised by a professional watchmaker.
Circa 1880.
