Beautiful mahogany and marquetry secretary.

The front opens with a drawer, a flap and two doors.
The flap reveals four small drawers and niches, leather top edged with gilding.
Extensive marquetry work: frieze of stylized circles, lozenges, fillets and graccias.
Finely chased gilded bronze ornamentation: 
- Pull rings with laurel leaves and lictor beams.
- Mounts with laurel scrolls and fleurons.
- Locks with knotted ribbon, pearls, leather and laurel leaves.
- Acanthus-ringed feet, hooves.
Rounded fluted legs, spindle feet, mahogany inlay.
Brocatelle violette du Jura marble top with inverted ears and cavet.
High-quality furniture, similar to that produced by Christian Krass.
Circa 1940.
