Charming lady's secretary in mahogany veneer, amaranth and inlaid fillets.
It opens with four drawers and a flap, inside with drawers and a leather top edged with gilded Greek motifs.
Cutaway mounts, inlaid fluting and antique-style gilt-bronze falls.
Beaded drawer rings, laurel-filled escutcheons.
Incarnate Turquin marble top.
Stamped by Fidelys Schey, master cabinetmaker in Paris in 1777.
Late 18th century.
Height 126 cm, marble width 61 cm, marble depth 34 cm.
