Beautiful rosewood veneered secretary.

It opens with five drawers and a flap.

The flap reveals two drawers and a leather top edged with hot-iron gilding.

Important marquetry work: fillets, foliage, fluting, knotted ribbons and horns of plenty.

Brass framing rods, antique-style gilded bronze falls.

Royal red marble top.

Around 1900.
