Large flat walnut desk in the Directoire style.
It opens on the front with five drawers.
Leather-covered top and pulls with gilded edges.
Diamond-shaped uprights, sheath legs.
Gilt bronze ornamentation: stylized lock escutcheons, sabots, palmette key.
Beautifully crafted.
Circa 1950.
Height under drawer 60 cm, top 78 cm, width 160 cm (+ 2 pulls of 32 cm), depth 90 cm.
