Large mahogany Empire-Return of Egypt style desk.

It opens by seven drawers in front and rests on four legs.

Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes on all sides: busts of Egyptian women, claw feet, stylized lock entries, crowns of flowers with knotted ribbons, palmettes, heart-rushes and foliage.

Upholstered in new burgundy leather, four keys.

Beautiful quality of manufacture.
