Rare double-sided walnut desk.

It opens with two opposing drawers.leather top edged with gilding (worn but usable as is).

On one side convex and concave stepped drawers, openwork pediments.

Locks signed J.T Needs and J.Bramah, lock manufacturers commissioned by the Crown of England.

On the bottom, two glazed pedestals, curved uprights and sabot feet, curved crosspieces.

Abundant carved decoration on all sides: shells, acanthus leaves, foliage, flowers, interlacing, trimmings, braces.

High-quality furniture with original architecture.

Around 1900.

Height under drawer 62 cm, top 75.5 cm, total 109 cm, length 147 cm, depth 99 cm.
